Classic Star Special Event (5th Friday)

Description

When there's a Fifth Friday of the month, we play the classic multiplayer format, Star (or Pentagram)— with players of either Classic Star or Commander Star getting to play free at our premium tables, and getting promo packs for checking in. Each game of Star has five players, sitting in the arrangement on the back of the card— Play a single color deck of the designated color, a two-color deck at least largely of the designated color, or a three-color deck of the designated color and its two neighbor colors. The two colors/players next to you are your allies, and the two opposite are your enemies. When any player's enemies lose the game, that player wins immediately! Classic Star uses kitchen sink legality and some vintage rules— Mana lending (with mana burn for loaned mana), and blocking for allies! Commander Star uses the player layout and color identity rules of Star, but otherwise uses Commander rules.
