Get MTG event digests and reminders posted to your server's channels — on the schedule you choose, filtered to the formats and stores you care about.

Add to your Discord server

You'll need the Manage Server permission to add it.

How it works

Click Add to your Discord server above and pick a server.
Set up a recurring post one of two ways:
- Right in Discord — run /playirl today or /playirl week, then click 🔁 Subscribe under the results and pick a channel, day, and time. Fastest way to a weekly or daily digest.
- On the web — open Account → Discord and click + New auto-post for the full set of options: per-event reminders, venue scope, naming, source filters, and editing.
The bot posts on the schedule you set. Manage any post later with the ⚙️ Manage button on it, /playirl manage, or the Discord tab on the web.
Anyone in the server can run /playirl today or /playirl week to look up events on demand.

Commands

/playirl today, /playirl week, and /playirl help work for anyone in the channel. /playirl manage requires the Manage Server permission. The 🔁 Subscribe button under a today/week result sets up a recurring post without leaving Discord; for reminders and full editing, use the website.

Show MTG events happening today near you. Location, radius, and format are all required — pick All formats to include everything.

Show MTG events in the next 7 days near you. Same options as /playirl today.

/playirl manage <id>

View a recurring auto-post's details and unsubscribe, re-enable, or edit it (Manage Server). Start typing in the id field — Discord autocompletes from your server's subscriptions. You can also use the ⚙️ Manage button under any auto-post.

Show the in-channel quick reference for every command and its options.

Subscription modes

Configured from the Discord tab of your account.

Weekly digest: One post per week with every matching event in the next 7 days. Default fires Monday at 8am ET.
Daily digest: One post per day with today's and tomorrow's matching events. Default fires at 8am ET.
Per-event reminder: One post per event, fired before it starts. Pick 1h, 2h, morning_of, day_before, or any number of minutes.

Your channel data stays inside the bot's own SQLite database — we don't share subscription configs with third parties. The bot only needs View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History for channel posts, plus Manage Eventsto add events to a server's Events tab.
