- Event Overview Magic Presents: Pride is an annual event organized by Wizards of the Coast to celebrate Pride Month within the Magic: The Gathering community. In 2026, the event will take place from June 5 to June 14 at participating local game stores. The event is played in the Commander format, with a special rule: all eligible commanders are treated as though they have the partner ability, allowing players to pair two commanders in creative combinations. This encourages players to build decks that reflect their personal style or favorite character pairings, such as Ral and Tomik, Saheeli and Huatli, or even two versions of the same character like Gonti, Lord of Luxury and Gonti, Night Minister.
