Description
Deck building is one of the most exciting parts of playing Magic—it’s where you create your own strategy before the game even starts. In Magic Academy, you’ll learn how to build a deck that works smoothly, feels consistent, and matches your playstyle. A good beginner deck usually has three main parts: Lands (Mana Sources): These power your spells. Most beginner decks use about 24 lands in a 60-card deck to make sure you can play your cards on time. Creatures: These are your main way to win. Start with simple, efficient creatures that can attack and defend. Spells (Non-Creature Cards): These include removal (destroying opponent’s threats), tricks, and card draw to help you stay ahead. Basic Tips for Beginners: Keep your deck at 60 cards for consistency. Focus on 1–2 colors so your mana is reliable. Think of your deck as a team: every card should help your overall strategy. As you play more, you’ll learn how to tweak your deck to make it stronger and more fun.
