- Brawl is a "singleton" (one-of-a-kind) format in Magic: The Gathering similar to Commander, where you build your deck around a specific Legendary Creature or Planeswalker called your Commander. This is a "Standard Brawl" variation and utilizes only the most recent sets in the standard paper rotation, consisting of 60-card decks and a 30-player starting life total.
