- Join us on Sunday, June 14 at 5 PM for our Avengers Academy: Two-Headed Giant Welcome Deck Gameplay! Avengers Academy is a special event designed to help experienced players bring a friend, family member, trusted sidekick, or helpful henchman into Magic and give them a taste of Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes a week before Prerelease. This casual Two-Headed Giant event invites you to team up in pairs, ideally one experienced player and one learning Magic, and play against other two-person teams using the new themed Welcome Decks. Pick a Welcome Deck featuring a Marvel character you're excited about or based on a color you'd like to play.* There are no rounds, no standings, and no pressure, so Avengers Academy keeps the focus on teamwork, learning, and fun!
