- Avengers Academy is a special event designed to help experienced players bring a friend, family member, trusted sidekick, or helpful henchman into Magic and give them a taste of Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes a week before Prerelease. There are no rounds, no standings, and no pressure, so Avengers Academy keeps the focus on teamwork, learning, and fun. Players in Avengers Academy keep their Welcome Decks as a reward for participating
