- Assemble your team! Avengers Academy is a special "Learn to Play" event designed to introduce new players to Magic: The Gathering using the iconic heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe. Event Highlights New Player Friendly: Veterans, bring a friend! Newcomers receive a Marvel Super Heroes Welcome Deck featuring fan-favorite characters to use during the event. Format: Two-Headed Giant (2HG). A cooperative team format where you and a partner play together against another duo. Exclusive Loot: Pre-register for the following week’s Marvel Super Heroes Prerelease during the event to earn a drawstring bag and a Hero // Villain token. Special Reward: Players who attend both Avengers Academy and the Prerelease can score wearable Loki horns!
