Avengers Academy is a brand-new introductory event from Wizards of the Coast for Magic: The Gathering® | Marvel Super Heroes. It's designed to welcome new players into Magic with the power of the Marvel Universe — perfect for bringing a friend, family member, or any Marvel fan! How It Works • Grab a partner — experienced players are encouraged to team up with a newer player • Each player receives a Marvel Super Heroes Welcome Deck featuring one of five Marvel heroes: Black Panther, Iron Man, Black Widow, Spider-Man, or The Hulk • Each Welcome Deck contains two 30-card half-decks — you'll each play with one half-deck during the event • Team up in Two-Headed Giant (2v2) and battle other pairs in casual games
