- Ever wondered what it's like to play Magic: The Gathering? Come find out at our Magic Academy: Learn to Play event Avengers Academy is a special event designed to help experienced players bring a friend, family member, trusted sidekick, or helpful henchman into Magic and give them a taste of Magic: The Gathering Marvel Super Heroes a week before Prerelease. There are no rounds, no standings, and no pressure, so Avengers Academy keeps the focus on teamwork, learning, and fun. This casual Two-Headed Giant event invites players to team up in pairs, ideally one experienced player and one learning Magic, and play against other two-person teams using the new themed Welcome Decks. Each participant will receive a random welcome deck to particiate with. Players who also register for the June 25 Two Headed Giant prerelease after attending Avengers Academy will receive 1x Drawstring bag and Hero // Villain token while supplies last.
