- Each player will receive $9 back in Store Credit $9pp is added to the prize pool and split among the top 3. 1st place receives 50%, 2nd place 30% and 3rd place 20% 2x Non-Foil WPN Promo Packs and 1x Foil WPN Promo Pack will be distributed based on the current King of Modern promo policy. Kind of Modern Prizing The king of modern is determined by winning a quarterly King of Modern special event or by winning modern locals two weeks in a row. The King on the night will receive a bonus 10% store credit.. When a new king is sworn in they have the option to change the promo policy which determines how promos are distributed weekly. The king can be greedy and choose to distribute all the promo packs to first place, be magnanimous and distribute promo prizing to the lower ranks of the ladder or absolve themselves to any pressure and distribute the promo packs at random. Participation in a weekly King of Modern event also qualifies you to participate in a special quarterly king of modern event.
