- Join us every Wednesday at 6:30PM at Hidden Hollow Hobbies for our weekly Standard Showdown! Whether you’re a seasoned competitive player or just getting into Standard, this is the perfect weekly event to test your skills, improve your deck, and enjoy a great night of Magic with the community. Standard Showdown is an official Wizards Play Network event focused on the Standard format, where players bring 60-card decks built from the most recent Magic: The Gathering sets currently legal in Standard. It’s one of the best ways to stay involved with the evolving meta, try out new strategies, and prepare for larger competitive events — all in a fun and welcoming environment. Each week players will battle through rounds of Swiss pairings for packs, promos, and bragging rights, with exclusive Standard Showdown promos available while supplies last. Whether you’re bringing a top-tier competitive list or your newest brew, there’s always exciting games, great community interaction, and plenty of Magic to be played!
