- Starting May 1st come to JC's House of Cards on Fridays to try out Secrets of Strixhaven Drafts! Firing a draft of either 4, 6, or 8 people with promos and store credit prizing! If you haven't drafted before, it's a great way to learn the game and collect cards; how you draft is simple. You start by opening a pack of Magic: The Gathering cards. You then pick a card out of the pack and put it in a pile in front of you and then pass the rest of the pack to your neighbor. You will be handed a new pack from your other neighbor, and repeat the process till all the cards are gone. Once you have finished this process with three packs, you have your draft pile. From there, all you have to do is construct a 40-card deck, and you're all set to play!
