TGE Standard vs. Standard

Description: Standard vs. Standard is a custom format played exclusively at TGE where players test the mettle of generations gone by against the power of current MTG. Players are encouraged to build standard decks from throughout MTG history to compete against other decks from other standard eras. The rules: A player must use the FINAL configuration of a standard block (including its ban list!) to create their deck. A deck cannot be chosen from an era without using its FINALIZED ban list, from the DAY before that set rotated! Players may not play blocks that did NOT have a "Standard" ("Type 2") format. Players must conform to CURRENT deck building constrictions AND rules (60 cards, 4 copies, up to a 15 card sideboard.) We look forward to seeing you here!
