- The Marvel Universe has landed at Dragon’s Gate Gaming. Join us for the Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes Prerelease, where players get their first chance to open the new set, build a deck and battle it out before the official release. Each player receives a Prerelease Pack, builds a 40-card deck, then plays in a relaxed, friendly tournament. This is a great event for experienced players, returning players and newer players who are comfortable with the basics of Magic. Expect heroic plays, villainous surprises, shiny cardboard and plenty of “wait, that card does WHAT?” moments. What to bring: A deck box, sleeves, dice/counters and your best superhero energy. Beginner friendly: Yes, but players should have a basic understanding of how to play Magic. Staff and community members will be around to help where possible.
