- The Marvel Universe has landed at Dragon’s Gate Gaming. Join us for the Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes Two-Headed Giant Prerelease, where players team up, open the new set early, build decks together and battle side by side before the official release. Each team receives two Prerelease Packs. You and your teammate will combine your cards into one shared team pool, then work together to build two 40-card decks before playing against other teams. Bring a partner if you have one, or come solo and we’ll help pair you with another player on the day. This is a great event for experienced players, returning players and newer players who are comfortable with the basics of Magic. Expect heroic plays, villainous surprises, shiny cardboard and plenty of “wait, our cards do WHAT together?” moments. What to bring: A deck box, sleeves, dice/counters and your best superhero team-up energy. Beginner friendly: Yes, but players should have a basic understanding of how to play Magic.
