- We'll pick 2 from one set, 1 from another and draft! The Draft Process: Packs & Pods: Gather 3 play booster packs per person. Sit in a circle (an 8-person pod is ideal).Pack 1 (Pass Left): Open your first pack, select one card, and pass the remaining cards to your left. Pick up the pack passed to you, select a card, and pass left. Continue until all cards are drafted.Pack 2 (Pass Right): Open your second pack, choose one card, and pass to the right until all cards are taken.Pack 3 (Pass Left): Open your third pack, choose one card, and pass to the left until finished. Deck Building 40-Card Minimum: Your deck must have at least 40 cards, but there is no maximum. (You can use more than 4 copies of a specific card if you drafted them).Lands: You don't draft basic lands (Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, Forest), we provide them!
