- An unexpected journey begins August 7th. Crack open your Prerelease Pack, build a deck, and race your fellow adventurers to reclaim the Lonely Mountain before Smaug gets the last word. The Hobbit is Magic's return to Middle-earth – and it's bringing the Adventure mechanic back with it. Expect Thorin Mountain-King rallying the Company, Smaug the Magnificent guarding his hoard, and The Arkenstone at the center of it all. Plus, keep your eyes open for Dragon Horde frames and Dwarven Language card treatments that make your pulls feel like genuine treasure. Every player gets a Prerelease Pack to build from. Come early, stay late, and may your pulls be legendary – or at least better than what poor Bilbo had to negotiate for.
