- Curious about Magic: The Gathering but not sure where to start? Our Learn to Play MTG event is the perfect introduction to the world's most popular trading card game! Whether you've never shuffled a deck before or it's been years since you've played, our staff and community members will guide you through the basics of gameplay, card types, turn structure, deck building, and strategy. We'll help you learn at your own pace in a friendly, welcoming environment with no prior experience required. You'll get hands-on experience playing games, asking questions, and discovering what makes Magic such an exciting and rewarding hobby. By the end of the event, you'll have the knowledge and confidence to join casual games, Friday Night Magic events, and other Magic activities at the store.
