- Think you can win with just one booster pack? Mini-Master, also known as Pack Wars, is one of the fastest and most exciting casual Magic formats. Every player starts with a single unopened booster pack and a handful of basic lands. No deckbuilding, no preparation just crack a pack, shuffle up, and play! Mini-Master Event Details Entry Fee: $25 Date: Sunday August 16th 2026 Registration: 12:00PM - 12:55PM Gameplay Begins: 1:00PM Format: Mini-Master (Pack Wars) How Mini-Master Works per round Each player will open 1 unopened Play Booster. (Each player will have 4 packs total to use 1 pack per round) Open your pack without looking through it first. Remove any: Basic Land Token Art Card Advertisement/Helper Cards Add 3 of each basic land (15 lands total) to the remaining cards. Shuffle your deck and you're ready to battle! No deck construction is required!!! Everyone plays with whatever fate has in store.
