- Welcome to our The Hobbit prerelease weekend! Join Bilbo on his journeys across Middle-Earth in this new Hobbit themed Lord of the Rings set. Participants will play in four rounds of Swiss against local players and win prizes based on their record. Preregistration for this event will open up one month before the event date. This event has a cap of 64 so preregistration is recommended. Registration/Check-in will be done on the day of the event starting at 5p. Build your 40-card (minimum) deck and play four best-of-three rounds of Magic against local opponents. Prizes will go out to players with a positive record (2-1-1 or better) as play booster packs of The Hobbit. Entry is $49.99 and includes your sealed prerelease kit containing six play booster packs of The Hobbit a foil rare or mythic promo from the set, and a special spindown die.
