- This beginner-friendly event is designed to teach players how to build a Magic deck and understand what makes a deck work. We’ll cover the fundamentals, including card types, mana curve, lands, creatures, spells, deck strategy, and how to make your cards work together instead of just throwing cool cards into a pile and hoping the Shire provides. This is a great next step for new players, returning players, families, and fans of The Hobbit who want to learn how to create better decks and feel more confident playing Magic.
