A 60 card competitive event to play magic like Garfield intended... you battle it out over 3 rounds for packs and promos. It's also your first chance to try out the new standard format with cards from The Hobbit included in your decks. The packs to be awarded are standard legal play boosters, and the promos are special alt-art cards that aren't available any other way, to commemorate a hard-fought victory. If you like old-school competitive Magic, or just want to try something different than commander, come out and give Standard a try.
