- Return to Middle-earth and experience a timeless tale's grand beginning! Set out from The Shire with Bilbo, Gandalf, and their company of Dwarves in pursuit of fortune, adventure, and the dreadful Dragon Smaug. Amass and recruit your armies in the shadow of The Lonely Mountain, then battle it out to claim the treasures of Erebor! Prerelease is a great opportunity to get your hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer. Prerelease Packs contain everything a player needs to be guided through deckbuilding and begin facing off in epic one-on-one matches. Following a brief player meeting, each player will receive a prerelease kit. Players will have up to 60 minutes to open their prerelease kit and build a minimum 40-card deck from what they open and as many basic lands as they need (we have plenty on hand for players to use). Following deck building, each player will participate in 3 Swiss rounds.
