- Drop in to Dungeon's Gate on Friday, August 21, between 5-10pm, and you can Learn to Play Magic:The Gathering at our Magic Academy: Learn to Play! Magic Academy is a beginner-friendly event series that teaches new players how to play Magic: The Gathering. Through guided sessions participants get hands-on experience with support from staff or mentors in a fun, low-pressure environment. Players add themselves to the Magic Companion App, learn to play in casual matches, and get a Welcome Deck to play with--and it's theirs to keep (for Wizards Account registered players and while supplies last).
