- Welcome to Magic Academy: Learn to Play! Whether you're completely new to Magic: The Gathering or returning to the game after a break, this event is designed just for you. Come learn the core rules, basic strategies, and turn mechanics in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. No prior gameplay experience is required, and all welcome decks and learning materials are provided free on-site. This casual, player-list-only event allows you to jump in and learn at your own pace alongside friendly staff and experienced local players who are on hand to walk you through your first games step-by-step.
