Magic Academy: Learn to Play
Sunday, November 1, 20261:00 PM GMT
- Description
- Magic Academy: Learn to Play is a relaxed, beginner-friendly introduction to Magic: The Gathering. You will be guided through the basic rules using a beginner-friendly deck provided at the event. Our staff and experienced players will explain how cards work, how to cast spells, how combat is played and how to win a game. You will then play your first casual matches, with help available whenever you need it. There is no tournament pressure and no previous trading card game experience is required. This event is perfect for complete beginners, returning players who need a refresher or anyone curious about Magic but unsure where to start. Everything required to learn and play will be provided. Eligible players may also receive a Welcome Deck to keep while supplies last. Players must have a Wizards Account to qualify for promotional materials and are encouraged to download the Magic: The Gathering Companion app before attending.
