Players pair up to battle as a team, competing for two X-Men '97 Yearbook comic books exclusive to Magic events. Two players share a single 30-life total and take their turns simultaneously—while maintaining their own hands and permanents—letting them plan combos and back each other up on the battlefield. Marvel Double Issue is made for Magic regulars who are also Marvel fans: they know their way around a Magic event and now have an opportunity to bring their skill and their fandom to the table for a Marvel reward that's unique to Magic.
